Man Forced Son to Beat Himself With Shoes, That's Still Child Abuse

Nirmal Sambhi, 58, of Meridian, Idaho couldn't bear to hit his own child (apparently), so he forced his 8-year-old son to beat himself repeatedly with shoes as punishment. After the child hit himself, Nirmal bound the boy's hands and feet, according to Komo 4 News. At some point a family member had enough and called police to report the abuse. Nirmal was arrested and charged with felony injury to a child. The boy is in state custody.
