Nathaniel Simon, 54, of Albion, Wash. was arrested Tuesday after he strangled his girlfriend and carved “Do Not Resuscitate” into her chest. According to police, the assault occured on March 25, but was not reported by his girlfriend until March 29. The victim suffered multiple bruises, lacerations and had the words “Do Not Resuscitate” cut into her chest with an edged weapon. The woman, who said she did not lose consciousness during the assault, was treated for her injuries and released. Nathaniel is charged with assault, harassment and unlawful imprisonment. He's currently held on $500,000 bail.source
