Judge to Child Molester: 'I Think You Were Born Gayer Than a Sweet Smelling Jock Strap'

This morning in Waupaca, Wisconsin, 71-year-old Delton Gorges was sentenced to 7 years in prison and 15 years extended supervision after he pleaded no contest earlier this year to sexually assaulting four boys. Delton, who's married and has a child of his own, has maintained that he's straight, but Judge Philip Kirk isn't so convinced. While handing down the verdict, Judge Kirk told Delton in open court: “I think you were born gayer than a sweet smelling jock strap...I think that if anyone believes that in the last 10 years or 15 years all of a sudden you developed an interest in homosexuality and young boys, then I must have looked ravishing in my prom - prom dress this year. I think that you lived your life as a lie all of your years. And I don't doubt that you engaged in heterosexual behaviors, you got married and had a child. But it was all a lie.” Despite the judge's colorful -- and some would say homophobic -- language, he's absolutely wrong. It's been proven time and time again that most pedophiles are heterosexual men.
