Man Beats Bus Driver With Belt When Told He Has to Pay Fare

Tyrone Darell Hubbert, 18, was arrested and charged with battery after he whipped a Miami bus driver with a belt. According to NBC Miami, Tyrone tried to pay the $2 bus fare by swiping his Social Security card, but after several unsuccessful attempts, the bus driver told the teen he had to pay or get off the bus. Feeling disrespected - or something - Tyrone took off his belt and started swinging, hitting the bus driver several times as he drove. The driver eventually stopped the bus and sat on Tyrone until police began. The teenager remains jailed on $5,000 bond.
