Man With 100-Pound Scrotum is Not Having a Ball

Wesley Warren Jr. of Las Vegas is a man with an abnormally large scrotum. It weights a whopping 100 pounds and hangs to the floor. While many believe he's suffering from elephantiasis, doctors who have examined him have found no trace of the infectious disease that produces the massive elephantiasis of the scrotum. Instead, the 47-year-old believes his disabling condition was a result of him accidentally striking his testicles with his leg as he twisted and turned upon awakening from a sleep in late 2008. "I never felt such pain," he tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal. "It was like a shooting pain through my entire body. When it stopped, it was like a huge tractor trailer went off the top of me. I think it ruined my lymph nodes down there." When he awoke the following morning, Wesley says his scrotum was "the size of a soccer ball." He went to the doctor, and he was given antibiotics, but when he continued to swell, Wesley went back and forth to the clinic, seeing urologists, surgeons, internists and infectious disease specialists -- but none could determine what was wrong with him. Doctors suggest surgery, but it costs $1 million and is not guaranteed to work. In fact, it's possible he could be castrated would need a catheter. Wesley says his penis is so buried in his scrotal tissue that he can't direct his urination and often sprays the area around him. So, you can imagine the stench. What's that smell? "I really don't think people know what I have," he says. "It's not something people have seen before, I'm sure of that. I doubt if they can even imagine it." He ain't said nothing but a word. (Sidebar: If you can help Wesley with some coins to help him get this much-needed surgery, hit him up at benefitballsack@yahoo.com.)

Something here doesn't add up. Why didn' he seek aid BEFORE his scrotum hit 100 pounds???It didn't get that way overnight. Why wait until he is nearly immobile and in danger of castration?
