This man is Apolinar Cortez. Apolinar Cortez is sick. The 48-year-old was arrested over the weekend and charged with kidnapping and raping his biological sister. According to police, Apolinar (along with an accomplice, who's still on the loose) drove to the Los Angeles area Friday evening and kidnapped the 26-year-old woman at knife-point, saying he'd kill her if she didn't comply with his demands. Apolinar took his sister back to his home -- a converted shack -- in Planada, California and raped her while threatening to kill her if she refused. The woman was trapped inside the shed until her brother left to get breakfast on Sunday morning and she was able to make contact with nearby residents, who called authorities. Upon questioning by police, he confessed and told cops he was in love with his sister. He remains jailed on $1.17 million bond.
