After mounting pressure from viewers and an online petition demanding Oxygen cancel an upcoming reality show that chronicles the life and times of rapper Shawty Lo, his 10 baby mamas (with whom he has 11 kids) and his new 19-year-old girlfriend, the network has decided to can the show. In a statement, Oxygen says: "As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special. We will continue to develop compelling content that resonates with our young female viewers and drives the cultural conversation." The civil rights group ColorofChange.org collected more than 40,000 signatures demanding Oxygen cancel the show, while a petition on Change.org drew 37,000 signatures.
