89-year-old Man Jailed For Beating Wife

Yes, this happened in Florida. New Port Richey, Florida. 89-year-old Domenico Palermo was arrested Tuesday night after he beat his wife and threatened to kill her with a knife during an argument. According to police, Domenico got into a verbal altercation with his 79-year-old wife which became physical when he grabbed her by the throat, choked her and punched her in the face. At one point during the fight, he grabbed a knife from the dinner table and said, "I'm going to kill you. I'm going to kill you." His wife, who suffered cuts to her face and left arm, was able to get away and run to a neighbor's for help. Old man Domenico was charged with domestic battery on a person 65 years or older.
