Lil Wayne is Latest Victim of 'Swatting'; Man Claims He Shot 4 People Inside Rapper's Home
Police have given the all-clear at Lil Wayne's Lil Wayne's 8-bedroom, 10-bathroom $9.3 million home located at 94 Lagorce Circle in Miami Beach after a phone call on the city's non-emergency line from a man who claimed he shot four people inside the home. Police and SWAT team officials soon arrived on the scene and after two hours left the home after "clearing the inside." Police said they did not locate any subjects or victims on the property and there was no evidence of shots fired. They declared the incident a hoax or a "swatting," which is calling police and tricking them into dispatching an emergency response based on the false report of an ongoing critical incident. Last Saturday, police were also called to the rapper's home after a suspicious person was lurking around the property at around 3 a.m. Police ultimately determined no crime was committed and the man was free to go.
