According to a study by the Pew Research Center, black and Hispanic teens are more active on social media sites -- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Google+, Vine, Tumblr -- than white teens. The found that 34 percent of black teens and 32 percent of Hispanic teens report going online "almost constantly." Conversely, only 19 percent of white teens say they go online regularly. The study found that 92 percent of all teens say they go online every day, with 56 percent saying they log online several times a day. The study says teens from more affluent households are more apt to use Snapchat, while teens from lower income households are more likely to use Facebook.
