Jim Jones has pleaded not guilty to allegations of assault relating to a March incident with a teenage fan in Florida.
The Diplomats star is facing one count of misdemeanor battery after Damion Johns, 17, accused Jim Jones of punching him in the face at the MTV Spring Break concert when he failed to move out of the way fast enough after being asked to by police.
Damion further alleges that after he retaliated, Jim Jones' bodyguards threw him to the ground and attacked him.
Jim Jones did not attend the court hearing on Friday and his lawyer, Hoot Crawford, entered the plea on the rapper's behalf.
It's not the only legal woe Jones is facing - he's also due in court June 4 to answer another assault charge resulting from his beatdown of Ne-Yo's manager at the Louis Vuitton store in New York last December.
BTW. Jim Jones tweeted his telephone number, asking fans to call him. However, we tried calling it, because a reader told us it was disconnected, and the number is, in fact, not in service. Maybe when you try it, the call will go through.
