Maybe it was the news media. But after days of showing an animation of NASA's plan to crash two rockets into the moon in search of water, people were hoping to witness an actual crash, fireworks, plumes of smoke, meteors falling from the sly -- or something.
Instead, what we saw were some shots of the moon followed by a black screen followed by the NASA people clapping.
Success?
