For the second time in two years, Lil Wayne has cancelled a European visit. After axing a 2009 jaunt due to illness, the rapper has reportedly called off a string of summer dates following the denial of his UK visa application. The rapper spent much of last year behind bars, serving eight months for weapon possession charges. The UK Border Agency rejected his application because of his criminal record, which also includes assorted drug charges since 2007. However, Lil Wayne currently claims to be sober: "My sweat taste different," he recently told MTV. "My sweat used to taste like weed. But now it's just, I'm like, I don't know what it is."In 2009, he was forced to cancel his an entire European tour citing doctor's orders that he rest due to an ongoing migraine. Update: According to Lil Wayne's people, talk of his being banned because of his criminal history are false. A spokesperson told MTV "no visa was ever filed, nor were there any tour dates announced or tickets sold." Carry on.
