A couple from North Carolina has been arrested and charged with child abuse after their five children were discovered living in a filthy home with their dead grandfather inside. Melissa Poole and Jeremy Dishner say their children were never in danger. Investigators said they found raw sewage under the home and spoiled food and debris was piled up on the floors throughout the house. They said Melissa's 62-year-old father had been dead for more than 24 hours before anyone called for help. source: WSOC
