Citing budget cuts, and what came as a shock, we learned Charlamagne and Trev Hollywood (Trevor Simms) were fired from The Wendy Williams Experience. Effective immediately. But, as more information became known, Nicole, the show booker, who accused Wendy and her husband, Kevin, of sexual harassment and intimidation, was also fired. Tarin, the show's executive producer who faded into the abyss soon after Nicole's allegations, was also fired.
On Thursday Wendy held a "press conference". No, not on the steps of WBLS' offices, but over the mic. She said, "My sidekick and friend, my forever friend, Charlamagne Tha God is no longer with the show.... Charlamagne has got a lot of job offers and he will be fine... This show will not finish changing and Charlamagne is the latest casulty... He will be over this weekend. .. He is gone he is not forgotten he is still la familia and he sleeps in the purple room when he comes over. That man will be O-damn-K."
Wendy's contract at WBLS expires this spring and her TV show begins in July so we believe either she will be fired from WBLS (meaning her contract will not be renewed) or she chooses to leave because of the awkward work environment. Added to the drama, her show was cut from five hours to four in this fall. Plus, she doesn't hide her feelings for management - she's not happy.
