Donald Trump recently gave an interview to a local NYC station where he, among other things, call 50 Cent's reality show a joke. He calls Puff a friend, but 50 a half-of-a-friend.
Harsh!
Said Trump: “I’m in many, many rappers songs. And I know them. 50 Cent is sort of a friend of mine. I mean, he likes me. He just did a show. It was a copy of ‘The Apprentice.’ It will fail because he’s not Trump, but he’s actually a nice guy. And P. Diddy did a show which, by the way, I think bombed, but it was a copy. I wrote him a little note, ‘Good luck with the copy.’”
Wendy adds her two cents: "We hate your show, though. Just to be clear. We hate your show, 50. And your teeth. Shout out to your teeth."
Wow!
Bonus
For those of you who miss Charlamagne, a caller made a suggestion we never thought of. If Wendy has control of her show and her guests, she should have Charlamagne in every day. Genuis. But that's not gonna happen. WBLS hated Charlamagne when he was an employee so they're not gonna have him parading through the halls, much less in the building, when he's not on the payroll.
What's a good way to come up? Get with Jennifer Hudson.
Wendy says one year ago Punk was vying for New York's attention on "I Love New York", but today he's on "his way to the White House". (Jennifer has been tapped by Obama to sing at his inauguration and Punk, as Jennifer's fiance, will most certainly be invited, too.
"We are doing something wrong," Wendy says.. "There has got to be an easy come up"
And, friend-of-the-show, Q-Tip, sold 20,000 copies of his new CD, The Renaissance.
"Does that even pay the light bill to be in the studio" to record the album, Wendy asks.
Could it be that those who cared downloaded it for free online?
Just saying.
