Finally, I've heard something clear, sincere and profound from someone not personally invested in this brouhaha over whether gays should have the right to marry. (We can't put our heads around why people are opposed, given that it's 2008 and we live in the United States of America! If gays do get married, how does that affect straight people's marriages?)
