"American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino's $1.3 million Charlotte, North Carolina home hits the auction block next Monday because she's refused to repay the balance of a loan. The kicker is, though, she doesn't appear to care.
Fantasia borrowed $75,000 to pay back taxes to the IRS, but she only made repaid $10,000 - and that was in August 2007!
According to records, the signer, nor her lawyers, have showed up to court, resulting in a default judgment against the Fantasia which gives the creditors the right to recoup their monies by auctioning off the home.
People are living at the home, too. When the sheriff's deputies and process servers knock, no one answers. However, there are four cars parked in the garage.
We suggest those people pass the message on to the singer 'cause in less than a week, they'll be homeless.
