Former Bad Boy Artist Throws Diddy Under the Bus in New Tell-All Book

Former Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry has written a juicy book called "Dancing with the Devil", detailing his life as a "Bad Boy" - which he admits is not just a record label, but a bad omen, too

The book goes into the "fast paced, controversial, and sometimes deadly world of hip-hop music" and comes with a "Dishin it Out", a compilation CD of tracks from former Bad Boy artists.

Mark writes:
Puff has an annoying habit of inserting himself into songs and videos of all the artists on his label and it was common knowledge that many Bad Boy acts resented him for this. Puffy charged the artists for his appearances on their records and in the videos, usually without their realizing it until they received their royalty statements. That's when they discovered that a large sum of their money had gone to fees which were doubled, tripled and even quadrupled because Puff 'special appearances.' He charged artists, for example, for having his Bentley in their videos - which he insisted upon - then took a tax credit for business use of the car"

In the first chapter, Curry talks about shooting incident which went down while working the door at the Platinum House, a club in Atlanta, which hosted a party called "Bad Boy Fridays", managed by Puffy's bodyguard Anthony 'Wolf' Jones. On that night, the club was hosting a Jermaine Dupri birthday party, attended by everyone in the industry. Suge Knight, who publicly dissed Puffy at the Source Awards was there, with his bodyguard Big Jake, who was released from prison two days prior. Puffy was there with his friend Jason Brown. Also in attendance were the Bloods and Crips street gangs. There was a turf war inside the club, Bad Boys, East Coast on side, Death Row Record, West Coast on another.

At some point that night Jason shot Jake.
