The National Enquirer spoke to some of Michael Jackson's friends, who say the former King of Pop is bedridden, and his genetic disease we reported on in early December is getting worse because of his addiction to painkillers and alcohol. They say he is "really, really bad shape" and fears he will be dead in six months!
"It's tragic. His condition is just so far gone, I'd be surprised if he lasts six months," says a source. "Painkillers and booze have caught up with him. The only way he was able to cope with the stress of sex scandals and his roller-coaster life was to mask the pain with substance abuse. But the end result is an addiction that will kill him."
If you recall, Michael's hair was set afire during the making of a Pepsi commercial 25 years ago. He is said to still be suffering and takes, and is addicted to, morphine and the potent painkiller Demerol.
The source also says Michael's "muscles and lungs are deteriorating" and is bedridden and can only walk "but not for very long." Usually, they say, he can be out for no longer than one hour.
Of course, Michael's reps are denying these reports.

Damn.... They were right!
You hear stuff like this all the time regarding celebrities...but I hadn't heard this regarding him, and I would have never thought it to be true - yet here we are, without Michael Jackson, 6 months later...
