We really don't mean to cast aspersions on Rihanna's character, but what da hell!!!???!!!!

People magazine is reporting that she and Chris Brown are back together or working out their issues.

Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The pair have reunited almost three weeks after Brown, 19, allegedly battered the “Umbrella” singer on Feb. 8, a source tells PEOPLE.

“They’re together again. They care for each other,” says the source. The on-again couple are currently spending time together at one of Sean “Diddy” Combs’s homes, on Miami Beach’s Star Island.

Adds the source: “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves.”

And Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, is co-signing on his daughter's donkey-ish behavior.

Rihanna’s father Ronald Fenty has spoken exclusively from his home in Barbados about his daughters decision to get back with Chris Brown. Rihanna and Brown are holed up together at Sean Diddy Combs mansion on Star Island near Miami. It comes just three weeks after Brown allegedly battered the singer the night before the Grammy Awards on Feb 8. Fenty says, I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose. I will be supportive. If that’s the road she wants to choose, I’m behind her. I hope to see her soon. I talked to her after her birthday, and she told me she’s OK.”

What the hell is going on? Granted she's young and - obviously - stupid to think that getting back together with a man who humiliated you, denigrated your character and sent you to a hospital is in love with her and it's s relationship worth salvaging.

We hope Perez' report that Chris has moved on to Khloe Kardashian; the two were seen getting their party on at Plunge on Saturday night.

Khloe says she was not partying with Chris; in fact, she's never met him, reports the Daily News.

While Kardashian acknowledges she was there with Jeezy and his crew - drinking, we heard, nearly $5,000 worth of vodka and champagne in three hours - she took to her blog to vehemently deny the rumors she even knows scandal-embroiled Brown.

"So I woke up this morning to a ridiculous amount of missed calls and news EVERYWHERE that I had been spotted out and about in Miami with Chris Brown. The funny part about this alleged 'news' is that I've never even met Chris Brown!" the reality TV star scribed late Sunday.

Instead, Brown was working on his music. "His friends shot down that partying claim quick," our insider said. "He went to the Setai, where Lenny Kravitz has a recording studio. Chris was in there working when all those gossip people said he was out drinking and partying."
