Mel B is taking a Rihanna, forsaking her family because of a man.
Tsk. Tsk.
According to Mel B's sister Danielle, the singer and former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant has not talked to her mother, Andrea in more than six months. (She hasn't talked to Danielle since that time, either.)
Why? Because of husband Stephen Belafonte.
"She is wrapped up in her own little world. Mel hasn't spoken to her own mother in months. She has a husband now so she just doesn't find the time. He doesn't help. To be honest, I don't think he's a very nice person," Danielle says. "It's hard not hearing from her, but I'm getting used to it now."
Stephen - who married Mel in 2007 - has been accused of cheating on her by his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Contreras, who claimed last year he slept with her behind Mel's back and begged her to take him back just before his wedding. She also alleged he is violent and jealous and once tried to strangle her.

Everytime I see pics of them, he looks controlling and abusive to me. This post doesnt surprise me...he even looks crazy. I hope if it IS like it reads, she has the strength to leave....
Mel B is working and what is he doing? Likely, living off her, but that is her own affair. She will regret it, there is nothing like family. When she comes to her senses, she will realize the terrible harm she is doing by preventing her daughters from spending time with the grandparents and aunt.
