The NBA has barred Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade from wearing personalized bandages. Wade had been wearing various slogan-bearing Band-Aids under his left eye since he was injured during a game on Feb. 8.
Even though the cut had healed, Wade continued to wear the bandages which featured the American flag, "Wade" and his nickname "Flash."
"We spoke to them," NBA spokesman Tim Frank told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "A player can wear a Band-Aid for healthcare purposes, but it shouldn't have any name or identifications on it."
Here's Dwyane speaking to talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel about the Band-aids.
