Britney Walks Off Stage - Twice!

Britney Spears took her Circus tour to GM Place in Vancouver last night, but fifteen minutes into her first set and three songs in, Britney walked off the stage because people were smoking weed.

Before Britney's exit, a woman’s voice came across the arena sound system saying: “The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes - this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage clears.”

Expectantly, the crowd was not pleased. Many complained that her walking off the stage disrupted the show's mood - and their high, no doubt.

But alas, Britney returned. And - guess what - 30 minutes later she left the stage again, with 90 seconds left on the song she was lip syncing("Everytime").

Britney returned and she closed the show with her number one single "Womanizer", but before she left she had one piece of advice for the audience: “Vancouver, don’t smoke weed.”

Concert-goers told her to "F" off and to "drive safe."

After the show, a statement was posted on the singer's Web site: "We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney's set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."
