A member of the all-girl band who represented Germany at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest is under arrest for allegedly infecting her lover with AIDS.
Nadja Benaissa, 26, of the group No Angels, was arrested in Frankfurt, Germany shortly before a weekend concert.
She is charged with causing serious bodily harm by sleeping with at least three men without telling them she was HIV positive and not using contraception.
Prosecutors said one man has tested HIV positive and she is the “prime suspect”.
She could face up to 10 years in prison.
As you recall, a Canadian man was convicted for passing HIV onto his partners.
