Michael Vick Has Been Released From Prison
Star NFL-quarterback-turned-convicted animal abuser Michael Vick was released at dawn Wednesday from the Leavenworth, Kan. penitentiary he was sentenced to, and will serve out the remaining two months of his twenty-three month sentence at his Hampton, Va. home, according to reports.
The ex-Atlanta Falcon will be electronically monitored and confined to his home unless authorized to leave by his probation officer. He will work full-time at a local construction company, where he will make $10 hourly. He will be also be working with the Humane Society of the United States on anti-dogfighting campaigns.
Michael could return to playing professional football as soon as September if he is reinstated by the NFL. (Michael did have a 10-year $140 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons before getting locked up.)
