Just an update about my local Starbucks and the free pastry promotion...it was not good! I took my coupon to the Starbucks at approx 9am and was told, in a rather hurried and rude manner, that they had run out of the promoted pastries an hour or so earlier. And, uh, NO, they weren't offering anything in its place. It confirmed my assessment of Starbucks and their employees...skip it and go to Saxbys Coffee where they appreciate your business and treat you nicely!! Sandra (Murphy, TX)
