Last weekend former Tennessee Titans star Steve McNair was found shot to death. Beside his body was his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi. She was dead, too. (they're pictured)
Police were quick to label McNair's death a homicide. He had been shot twice in the head and twice in the chest, while Sahel was dead from a single gunshot to the head. Under her body was a gun she had purchased less than two days before the killings.
Others think this a classic murder-suicide. The gun at the scene was purchased by Sahel last Thursday. (Sidebar: This was an illegal purchase. You must be 21 to buy a gun.)
McNair, 36, was married with four sons.
Which leads us to actress Holly Robinson Peete who is married former quarterback Rodney Peete. They have four children.
Over on Twitter Holly wasn't holding back about McNair's. In a series of tweets, many of which she's since deleted, Holly referred to McNair's jumping off as "thoughtless narcissistic behavior."
On Sunday she posted these:
"the photos of mcnair and girl on vacay make me wonder was he throwing this in wife's face?? i hope not"
"i told hubby if i get a call some 20 yr old waitress he was doin offed him- me n kids boycotting the funeral -not EVEN joking"
The next day, this:
"dont care if they were separated-why was he with a 20 yr old buyn cars etc...clearly reckless thoughtless narcissistic behavior"
"hubby forbid me2 twt abt Mcnair anymr):but know tht SM was one of my FAVE QB's hence my dsappointment/grief4 wife/boys.STRENGTH 2 theFAMILY"
Damn, she put the fear of God in Rodney, thwart any inclination he may have to step out on her, but don't you love it how he told her stay away from the topic of McNair and she complied.
