Karl Largerfeld Intends to Piss off The Planet, One Fat Person at a Time

You know we love a bitchy queen, and no one is as bitchy as fashion designer/photograger Karl Lagerfeld.

After dissing supermodel Heidi Klum Samuel, he's now coming for fat people around the world.

Responding to news that Brigitte, a popular German magazine was banning thin models from its pages in favor of "real women", Ms Largerfeld said that those who criticized models for looking skinny or anorexic were fat "chip-eating," jealous fatties.

"No one wants to see curvy women," he told Focus magazine. "You've got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly."

The world of fashion was about "dreams and illusions," he said, dismissing as "absurd" the debate prompted by Brigitte magazine which said it would no longer feature professional models on its pages.

"Nobody wants to see a round woman," he added.

Several years ago Ms Lagerfeld, 71, lost more than 90lbs in 13 weeks under a strict diet which prompted rumors about his health. He later told reporters he did it for mere superficial reasonstaking vitamins and eating only steamed vegetables, yogurt, and cornbread. He wanted to get back to his weight as a 21-year-old and be able to wear the slim-fitting clothing being shown on the runways.

Is that a camel toe he's sporting?

Sorry, but "curvy" is not "fat". 5' 9" and 120 pounds isn't even particularly "curvy" (like the recently fired Ralph Lauren model)

And since I don't think he's interested in looking at women (regardless of size) maybe he's not really the best judge of what men who ARE interested in women really want to see.
