Rapper Method Man has turned himself in to authorities in New York City this morning to face felony charges for failing to pay his taxes. According to reports, he owes almost $33,000 in taxes from 2004 and 2007.
If you recall, last March his truck was repossessed because he owed - at that time - $52,503. He later said his finances were fine and he forgot to pay taxes because he was high.
He is being charged with repeated failure to file a return and failure to pay taxes.
Method Man is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon in Staten Island Criminal Court and could face up to four years in prison.
