Saudi Man Gets 1,000 Lashes, 5 Years in Prison for Talking About Sex

Mazen Abdul-Jawad, a Saudi man who bragged about his sexual exploits on “Bold Red Line”, a weekly Lebanese TV show last July, has been sentenced to five years in prison and 1,000 lashes after 200 people filed legal complaints against him.

The divorced man with four children talked about the first time he had sex and explained how he met women in Jeddah on the Red Sea coast. He then led viewers into his bedroom and showed off a collection of sex toys. An employee of Saudi Arabian Airlines, he was detained in July by authorities after appearing on the show.

The man's lawyer plans to appeal the sentence saying Mazen was unaware he was being filmed. Really? Mazen insists that he was referring to other people's sexual experiences and the sex toys in his bedroom were provided by the show.

Yeah, good look with that.

Saudi Arabia prohibits the use of sexual content on television, newspapers, books and magazines

Three other men who appeared with Mazen on the television show were each sentenced to two years in prison and 300 lashes.
