Don't Steal or This Could Happen to You, Too

Evelyn, 56, and her 35-year-old daughter, Tina Griekspoor, agreed to stand with the signs for 4 1/2 hours to avoid jail time for stealing two gift cards a 9-year-old girl set on a shelf while a Walmart employee helped her back in April.

The mom and daughter team used the cards and told a store clerk that the cards were theirs, though the girl's name was on them.
