Katt Williams Says He Was Evicted From the Four Seasons; Hotel Asks: Katt Who?
Comedian Katt Williams, who has been charged with burglary after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing jewelry and coins, told a local Atlanta TV station last night that he was kicked out of the very posh Four Seasons Hotel after staff told him he was causing a disturbance.
At a press conference he arranged at midnight Thursday, he told reporters he recently purchased a $2-million penthouse in the building in addition to renting seven rooms for seven nights.
"I haven't been here 72 hours and I'm being kicked out of the Four Seasons even though I paid up front and in cash. I don't understand," Katt said. "I'm at the point now where I'm standing out here with millions of dollars in movies and TV specials sold and most of them done right here in Atlanta," he said. "And to be ceremoniously dismissed at a hotel is sad."
That is sad, if it were true. The hotel's spokesperson told 11 Alive News they had no record of Katt staying at the hotel.
Angie Stephens, the Association Manager of the Condominium Association that occupies the upper floors of the Four Seasons building, went even further.
She told the TV station: "I can assure you that this gentleman does not own a condo at the Four Seasons."
Oh, my! He should really stay away from hotels and motels. Maybe it's time for another stint on the psych ward.
