Katt Williams Will Not Be Charged With Kidnapping

Comedian Katt Williams will not be charged with kidnapping a 17-year-old boy who called 911 last week claiming the comedian was holding him against his will and was threatening to beat him up. (you can listen to the call here.)

Cops have concluded their investigation and have found insufficient evidence to substantiate the boy's claims.

"It seems there was nothing going on," Coweta Sheriff's Office Maj. Mike Kinsey said. "We didn't find any firearms and there was no sign anyone was being held against their will."

In another post-jail interview, however, Katt addresses the allege kidnapping, saying the "little white boy" was living with him for a month, with the permission of his mother.

"And if you're 17 years old and I don’t let you leave it’s probably for a valid reason. It’s probably because you don’t have any money and you are away from home and you don’t have anywhere to go," he adds.

Katt still faces burglary and criminal trespassing charges. He maintains his innocence.
