Shane Sparks, a judge on "America's Best Dance Crew", has been arrested for alleged child molestation.
Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department say they arrested Melvin Shane Sparks in North Hollywood around 8 a.m. this morning on a felony warrant charging him with molestation. The alleged molestation took place between 1994 and 1997, according to a criminal complaint.
Forty-year-old Shane, who was also a choreographer on "So You Think You Can Dance", has been charged with eight counts of molestation, including a lewd act upon a child, which is a felony.
The child was a little girl.
He is being held on $590,000 bail.
Earlier this year another choreographer from "So You Think You Can Dance" was arrested. Alex Da Silva was charged with raping four dance students.
Update: KTTV Fox11 News got the video of the arrest and more of the sick details. The criminal complaint, filed yesterday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, includes eight counts... including 4 counts of lewd conduct with a minor under 14 years of age, 2 counts of sexual intercourse with a 14-or-15-year old, and 2 counts of oral copulation with a 14-or-15-year-old.
The underage girl in this case was one of Shane's dance students.
Investigators believe there are more victims out there and are asking those people to come forward.
He's going downnnnnnnnn! (And yeah, we meant that way, too. As a...um...let us think. As a, um, dancer -- yea, that's it, a dancer -- we're sure he has a lot of kneepads. Ehaow!)

Am I the only stunned? He probably thought that after 12 years, he was going to get away with raping an underage girl. I wonder how many other victims are out there. Send his pathetic ass to prison and throw away the key. And as you pointed out, his kneepads will come in handy behind bars - prison bars!
