WATCH: White House Party Crashers Say Their 'Lives Have Been Destroyed'

Party crashes Tareq and Michaele Salahi gave their first interview this morning to the Today show.

They tell Matt Lauer they are "shocked", "devastated" and their lives "have been destroyed" after they attended the White House state dinner last week which, they claim they were invited to, but no one can find a guest list with their names on it.

"We were invited. Not crashers," Michaele adds. "There isn't anyone who would have the audacity or the poor behavior to do that. The White House is the house. No one would do that, and certainly not us."

President Obama and First Lady MOBama, don't think so.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says "it's safe to say he (Obama) was angry. Michelle was angry."

The Salahis have met with the Secret Service, and claim they have documentation that will prove they were, in fact, invited.

But, apparently they crashed another event attended by the president last September.

Muriel Cooper, a spokeswoman for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, confirmed that the Salahis were escorted out of a foundation dinner on Sept. 26. She said the couple was sitting at a $20,000-per-table section at the event where Obama was the keynote speaker. When other guests complained that someone was in their seats, the Salahis were asked to show their tickets. They were asked to leave when they couldn't produce them.

"They didn't argue," Muriel said. "They just looked a little sheepish and were escorted out."

The Secret Service has called the Salahis to testify before Congress on Thursday about the White House incident.
