Former VH1 Reality Show Contestant Found Guilty of Murder
After four days of deliberations a San Francisco jury has found Jamal Rashead Trulove, who appeared on the VH1 reality show I Love New York 2, guilty of first-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm after her shot Seu Kuka several times in the back and in the head.
As the jury read the verdict yesterday, Jamal cried. Ahhhhh....
The defense's star and only witness told the court she (and 25 other people) saw Jamal shoot Seu. That witness, by the way, is now in the witness protection program. According to prosecutors, Keu was chasing Jamal's brother through a San Francisco housing project on July 23, 2007 when he ran into Jamal, knocking him down. Jamal then got up and shot Kew in the back, and then in the head multiple times.
He faces a minimum sentence of 50 years in prison.
Trulove was booted from I Love New York 2 during the season's first episode, after he got in a fight with another contestant. He was given the name "Milliown."
