A Russian "drug addict" (we think he gotta be a crackhead) has been arrested and charged with murdering a deaf and mute women he befriended then beheaded.
According to the Russian news service, Sergey Ananyev met the 22-year-old woman through a dating service last July. He led her to believe he was in love with her then began asking her for $100. Although they've never met face-to-face, the woman decided to travel to Sergey's hometown with the purpose of giving him the money on January 18.
Sergey killed the woman near an apartment building. He hit her on the head several times with a hammer, then stole the her two cell phones, a digital camera, gold jewelry and money. He covered the body with snow and left.
From there it gets more sinister.
Several days after the murder, Sergey dug up the woman's frozen body and chopped off her head so he could steal her earrings. He then pawned the earrings for drugs.
He faces up to 20 years in prison.
