An investigation is under way after a first-grade student at a Houston, Texas elementary school was caught with a small amount of marijuana.
Houston Independent School District officials said the drugs were found on the 7-year-old last Thursday morning while he was at school. The school called police and they determined the boy had 0.2 grams of weed.
The drug was confiscated, and he was released to his parents. He was suspended for three days.
The investigation was turned over to police and Child Protective Services.
