Thai Protesters Throw Their Own Blood at Prime Minister's Home

Some protesters throw tomatoes, others chain themselves to buildings or block traffic, but the red-shirted protesters in Bangkok have attempted to paint the streets outside the offices of the country's prime minster red -- with 2,000 pints of their own blood!

The protesters are angry at Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and plan to carry out the "blood shed" if he doesn't resign.

During protests there today, the protestors hurled plastic bags filled with their blood at the gates and fences of Vejjajiva’s heavily guarded house. Some were hurled into his compound, according to Reuters. Some hit the roof and then burst, spraying droplets of blood. That came a day after blood was poured in front of his office and at his Democrat Party headquarters by the red-shirted protesters, who are supporters of ousted premier Thaksin Shinawatra.
