Pasta Recipe Calls for 'Freshly Ground Black People'

Penguin Books has is reprinted more than 7000 copies of a cookbook after a cannibalistic/racist typo.

The Australian publishing company based in Australia was forced to reprint Pasta Bible -- to the tune of $18,500 -- last week after a recipe called for ''salt and freshly ground black people'' - instead of pepper - to be added to the spelt tagliatelle with sardines and prosciutto.

"We're mortified that this has become an issue of any kind and why anyone would be offended, we don't know," the publishing house's spokesperson said. "We've said to bookstores that if anyone is small-minded enough to complain about this ... silly mistake, we will happily replace (the book) for them."

Those books already on store shelves will not be pulled, however.

This is not racist at all, but I'm sure a typist or a proofreader got fired.
