With the economy in the dumps, it's a buyer's market. Right? Well, Queen Latifah and her "personal trainer" and rumored lover/fiance Jeanette Jenkins bought a $1,340,000 Mediterranean-style home in sunny Los Angeles last December, according to the folks over at The Real Estalker. The deed to the 2,026 square feet "gated and perfectly private" estate -- which boasts 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms -- lists both Queen Latifah and Jeanette as owner/buyer. "The interior spaces include a living room with a glass tile fireplace surround, a large dining room that opens to the side yard through French doors and a huge family room/kitchen with hexagonal Mexican tile floors and wall of multi-paned windows that open the room to a terrace with sunken hot tub that stretches along the back of the house and a bamboo surrounded lower terrace," The Real Estalker reports. Records show this is the second California home for Latifah. In 2005 she paid a grip ($5,400,000) for a 5-bedroom estate in Beverly Hills; She also owns several homes in Jersey.
