Supermodel Noemie Lenoir Attempts Suicide

French supermodel Noemie Lenoir downed a fistful of pills and alcohol last weekend in an attempt to take her own life, according Sky News.

The girlfriend of former Chelsea football star Claude Makelele is believed to have taken a cocktail of drugs and alcohol at their Paris home on Sunday.
The Paris St Germain midfielder called emergency services after finding his girlfriend slumped unconscious on the floor, a police source said.
But 30-year-old Lenoir - also the face of campaigns for Next, Gap and Victoria's Secret - woke up minutes later and canceled the ambulance, it was reported in France.
She then left the house alone in the suburb of La Celle-Saint-Cloud, and was found unconscious again several hours later by a passer-by on a forest footpath, reports said.
The model was rushed to hospital where was found to have consumed "large quantities" of drugs and alcohol, sources told French news agency AFP.
The agency said: "Her life is not in danger after this act which our sources have confirmed was an attempted suicide."

A friend tells the Telegraph that Noemie has been suffering from "extreme angst" as a result of her new relationship with Swiss millionaire Carl Hirschmann, who is embroiled in a sex scandal. Carl is accused of getting three models (one of them just 15 years old) drunk on a cocktail he calls his "Love Potion" then forcing them to perform, ahem, sex acts at his nightclub then threatened to upload the surveillance camera footage of the orgies to the Internet if they didn't pay him "large amounts of money."

"Noemie is extremely worried about Carl and has been suffering extreme angst," said the friend. "Her relationship with Claude Makelele is important to her, but only because he is the father of her child. The real love of her life at the moment is Carl....Knowing that he's involved with the police and investigating judges in such a serious case is tearing her apart. It's a living hell and often Noemie doesn't know which way to turn. The truth is that, despite all of the accusations being levelled against Hirschmann, Noemie is besotted with him."
