Man Beats Down Pregnant Girlfriend Because She Told Him to Smoke Outside

Terrell Levine, 34, faces aggravated battery, aggravated assault and kidnapping charges after he beat down his pregnant girlfriend because she had the gall to tell him to smoke outside because (gasp!) smoking is dangerous to their unborn child's health.
According to the police report, his girlfriend, Tiffany Rider, who has one child by Levine and is 10 weeks pregnant with another, told Levine that he could not smoke inside of the apartment because of her pregnancy, asthma and other health issues. Frustrated with her demands, Levine blew smoke in her face, making it difficult for her to breathe, the report states. When Rider began to search for her inhaler, Levine prevented her from doing so, according to the report. During the fight, Levine caused Rider to fall when he tried swinging her into the bedroom. He later punched her in the mouth when she ignored him and tried going to the hospital, according to the report. Levine, who also suffers from partial deafness, threatened that he would kill her if she called the police or left the apartment, the report states. Rider says Levine followed up by stating: "I'm a real (expletive) and I don't care." While the couple argued in the kitchen, Levine also pointed a knife to her face, according to the report. Rider told police that Levine said that if she screamed again, he'd stab her. Rider waited for Levine to fall asleep, and took her child and headed to the hospital where she was later met by police. She told the investigator that she was afraid that Levine would kill her.
Police picked up Terrell, who coincidentally was arrested for beating Tiffany.
