A day after TI was arrested for drug possession in Los Angeles, Ne-Yo was dismayed.
Ne-Yo told the AP, "I just feel that [TI] makes a lot of poor decisions when it comes to the people that he surrounds himself with...nine times out of 10 when he gets in trouble, it's not him, it's the people that he's with."
One can conclude that in this case, Ne-Yo is suggesting that TI is being led astray by his wife Tiny, who was also arrested Wednesday night. Ne-Yo adds that TI is one of the smartest people in the music industry, but it's time the rapper gets his life in order.
"You've been given a bunch of different chances," Ne-Yo said. "Now is the time to really go, you know I get it, all right, I get it."
