Victim of Bishop Eddie Long Speaks Out: 'I Can't Get the Smell of That Man Off My Body'

Jamal Parris, 23, the third of four men to file lawsuits against mega-church pastor Miss Eddie Long aka "Dick Tracy", spoke exclusively to MyFoxAtlanta last night. Jamal says Miss Long, who he called "daddy" and loved, preyed upon him and other boys and used them for sex. When he grew tired of having sex with him and the others, Miss Long -- who used the Bible to justify and support the sexual activity which happened before and after church -- traded them in for younger tighter models.

Jamal said: "I cannot get the sound of his voice out of my head, and I cannot forget the smell of his cologne, and I cannot forget the way he made me cry when I drove in his car on the way home, not able to take enough showers to get the smell of that man off my body....That man can not look me in my eye and tell me we did not live this pain. Why you can sit in front of the church and tell them that you categorically deny it. You can't say that to our face. And you know this. You are not a man, you are a monster."

He added: "I loved him. I'm always going to have love for the things that he taught me. But how he left us hurt worse than anything I ever felt in my life....You finally have a father that you've always wanted for and always dreamed of. He would just walk away from you if you don't give him what he wants. So you end up turning into something you never thought you would be, which is now a slave to a man that you love....This man turned his back on us when he had no more need for us. That's not a father, that's a predator."

He added: "His presence alone is seduction to a young man without a father. You look at him and he's everything you want to be, he's everything you see and you dream to be and being around him, it's almost like a drug. You can't believe the places you've added to your life and the cars that you're driving and the people that you're meeting, so it becomes 'If I want to continue to feel this love and this power, I'll do whatever my dad wants me to."

Jamal added that the pastor not only sent them questionable photos of himself in his underwear, but asked the boys to send him photos of them, too.

Miss Long has yet to publicly deny the allegations or that he's a sexual predator and a self-hating homophobe, but vows to fight the charges in court -- which we all know will not happen. When will this troubled closet case come out?

Developing...

PS: Jamal said he decided to sue Miss Long after efforts to resolve the matter privately didn't pan out.

Sidebar: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported today that Miss Long's ex-wife accused him of beating her ass during their brief marriage and even when she was seven-and-a-half months pregnant with the couple's only child, a son. Miss Long was the one who filed for divorce and, in the court papers, Dabara S. Houston said she was the victim of "cruel treatment" and was afraid of Miss Long's "violent and vicious temper." The couple was married in 1981 and separated a couple years later. He married his current wife, Vanessa Griffin Long, in March 1990. (Remember back in the day when "radio Wendy" used to say that any man who puts his hands on a woman is How You Doin, well Miss Long is a classic case in point.)

What is wrong with 25,000 New Birth members? Can you not read? Three-fourths of you need your finance for your families, while King Long lives high on the hog. Do you think God is pleased with this? You need to be praying for these young boys.
