Actually, this video is hard to watch, but it should serve as a wake-up call to those of you who have elderly parents in nursing homes or are being taken care of by hired help in your home. Watch their ass! Carmen Pereira, 53, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with extreme indifference, endangering the welfare of an incompetent person and neglect of an elderly/disabled person earlier this month after she was caught on tape smacking and generally roughing up a defenseless 91-year-old woman in a Jersey City, NJ home. The family of the woman said they suspected something was wrong when they saw bruises, so they left the computer's Web cam on record and when they checked the video, they saw Carmen manhandling their mother. Coincidentally, Carmen has worked for the family for 11 years! When she gets to prison, someone should smack her around.
