Woman Sets Husband on Fire to 'Purify' His Wayward Penis

A South Australia woman, who is currently on trial for murder after she pour gasoline on husband's penis then lit him on fire as he slept in December 2008 after suspecting he was cheating on her, has come up with a defense.

Rajini Narayan, 46, told the court today, that even though 47-year-old Satish Narayan was jumping off with another woman, she wanted him and she was just "purifying" his penis.

"He was my hero, the man of my life, the love of my life," she said. "I was going to purify his penis, leave a mark there and he would remain with me. He would be mine."

Satish died a week later.

Rajini also told the court that she had been subjected to domestic violence for most of her 20-year marriage.

"Sometimes it was just a slap, sometimes a slap and a punch and sometimes some kicking," she said.

But despite all the abuse, she said she desperately wanted her husband's love and felt his beatings were only to help her be a better person, to "idolize him." And on the night she set his crotch on fire, he called her a "fat, dumb bitch."

Well, in that case he totally deserved it. No?
