Man Forced Mother to Watch Him Rape Girl

Jerome Nubin, a 32-year-old man from Punta Gorda, Fla. has been arrested after he forced his girlfriend to watch while he raped her 12-year-old daughter three times.

The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call by the child’s grandfather that Nubin had raped his granddaughter. The child told detectives that Nubin sexually battered her Wednesday morning while she was in her mother’s bedroom with her mother present. Detectives said the child and her mother were held against their will with verbal threats of violence by Nubin using a baseball bat while the sexual battery took place. Detectives said Nubin, the mother’s boyfriend, slapped and punched her. According to a press release, Nubin then told the juvenile to take her clothes off or he would cut her throat. Sexual intercourse was done three separate times.

The grandfather says Jerome also threatened him with the bat and threw bricks, a child's scooter and a lamp at him. Jerome, who has been in and out of jail since 2005 for assault and weed possession, etc., was charged with three counts of sexual battery on a 12 year old, aggravated assault, kidnapping and domestic battery. He won't last a day in prison.
