Miriam Garmas, 34, has been charged with seven counts of fraud after she used her mother's name and social security number to rack up $10,021 in charges. According to police, Miriam's mother was checking her credit report when she stumbled upon the bogus charges. She called police. Miriam confessed to spending $4,200 on breast augmentation, $445 at Victoria's Secret, $321 at Old Navy, $2,333 on a Dell Computer, and more than $6,000 to Credit One Bank and Chase Bank. In order to hide the accounts from her mother, Miriam, who's unemployed, had all the financial correspondence sent to her own address on Stock Island, Florida. Back in 1996, Miriam faced charges for fradulent use of a credit card and grand theft.
